Q:When is the deadline for submission?
A:The submission deadline is on 15 October 2020, 11:50PM (GMT +8). Submissions received after the deadline will be disqualified.

Q:How will my submission be evaluated?
A:Your submission/solution will be evaluated by the challenge sponsor providing the industry challenge statement. Selected solutions would be deployed to assess the solutions’ ability to address the problems raised by the industry. During the evaluation of all submissions, we will consider the relevance, scalability and feasibility of the proposed solution.

Q:How can I participate in the challenge?
A:Download the proposal submission form in Microsoft Word format at the 'Attachment' section of the Challenge Statement Listing Page and fill in the details of your project proposal. Navigate to the Enterprise challenge page, identify the challenge statement your business is keen to address and click the "Submit Proposal" button after logging in. You will be presented with a form for you to submit your proposal. This submission will be your official entry into the challenge. Do upload the filled Microsoft Word project submission form and any other supporting documents/files that may support your proposal.

Q:Who is eligible to participate in the challenge?
A:This challenge is open to all local and international startups or SMEs. Those that are selected to proceed with solution development will be provided with co-funding support.

Q:What is the funding support?
A:The eligible enterprise will receive up to S$2,000,000 in co-funding grant support from development of prototype, deployment and adoption.
Solution providers will also benefit from the good customer references established and gain greater access to commercial opportunities with potential global clients.

Q:What are your policies on intellectual property protection and confidentiality obligations?
A:The protection of intellectual property rights in the submitted solution is the sole responsibility of the applicant. Once the solution is submitted and selected for trial, it will be a private agreement between the challenge sponsor and the startup / SME. Enterprise Singapore (ESG) would not request for a stake to the IPs developed. If you would like to share intellectual property rights which may contribute to the value proposition of the solution, it will be advisable to consider getting appropriate legal advice prior to making any disclosures to the organisers.

Q:How many members can I have in my team?
A:Your team should have a minimum of two members. There is no maximum limit to the team size. However, participants cannot belong to more than one team, and cannot be a family member or employee of Enterprise Singapore, IPI Singapore, or any of the corporate sponsors and marketing partners under both the TCC Enterprise Track and TCC industry Track.

Q:How would I know if my team/startup/SME is shortlisted?
A:The shortlisted teams will be informed via email on their selection with instructions on the next steps of the Trade and Connectivity Challenge 2020.

Q:Is there a participation fee?
A:No fees are required.
